I have over 25 years' experience managing institutional portfolios. My investment style is macro directional trading with a medium-term investment horizon of 6 months to 1 year. The investment universe encompasses developed and liquid emerging market public market instruments.

Recently retired from professional fund management, I now manage my own personal investments. This transition has required adapting my approach, moving from purely leveraged macro trading towards an asset allocation framework. I lean on my trading experience to implement asset allocation in a dynamic fashion in this fast-changing macro backdrop.

For the second half of my career, I am keen to put my knowledge and experience to work — whether through consulting, or research projects where my background in macro trading and portfolio management adds value. So far, I have been involved in multiple projects including skills-based mentoring of a social enterprise, appearing as an expert witness in a Singapore mediation case and assisting in the preparation of a regulatory report.
